CLR Annual Bike Show and Party - July 29

Pig roast, live music, bike show, tattoo contest, wet t-shirt contest, bike games. Camping available. $20 covers it all. Must be 21 to attend!

District Rep Update

Our former Prez Mule won an appointment as a District 5 Representative. He joins our own John Hall and Dave Evans (Chinkalagamoose). Be sure to congratulate Mule and many thanks to John and Dave for their hard work behalf of motorcyclists everywhere.

Pool Tourney Info

The District 5 pool tournament was held December 17.
Gary Horner first place , T J Wasson second place, Mike Roan, John Taglienti and Brian Focht will go to Districts

The state pool tournament will be Saturday, Feb 25 at Burgi's Roundhouse Bar & Grill - 1830 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA. All members are welcome to come and watch and cheer on the contestants. Tourney begins at 12:30.

State L and L Seminar

The State L&L is January 27-28 - at the Holiday Inn at Harrisburg-Grantville.

As in previous years CLR will refund cost of tickets for CLR members who attend the talks.

(The parties are free, and they are, *ahem*, really good!)

2011 Bike Raffle

The 2011 Center Line Riders Bike Raffle was held on Sep 1 at the Grange Fair grounds. The winner is a man from Woodward. More info will be posted here when I get it.

2011 Toy Run

The 2011 Salvation Army Toy Run was a success despite the rain. A number of hardy riders came and others stopped by to leave donations.

2011 Motorcycle Rights Rally

Centre Line Riders attended the 2011 Pennsylvania Motorcycle Rights Rally in Harrisburg. While there, our President (Mule) presented Charles Umberhauer with a check for $1200 for Bike Pac. It was a great ride and good weather, despite the threat of rain and the annoyance of a possible tornado on the ride home. Great seeing over 150 bikers from all over the Commonwealth out to proclaim that we are aware of the issues and we vote!

Centre Line Riders is on FaceBook!

We have a Facebook group. If you don't know what Facebook is either you have been living in a cave since 1990 or you are far too sane to be a biker....

At any rate - we have 31 members of the local biker community in the group so far and it is a great place for sharing of ride plans, info, pictures, etc.

I cannot find a way to put a link to a 'group' here - so you need to go to Facebook and search for Centre Line Riders - the group is open so anyone can join. Please be sure to read the group rules.

Be aware that your trusty Webmaster is NOT going to be duplicating information from the Web site to the FB group, so be sure to have a hotlink to both locations. After all they are but a key click away ...
